ARM – Building the next set of African Unicorns

The Assets and Resource Management Holdings Company is gearing up for her ARM Labs Lagos Tech stars accelerators programme slated to begin in August 2022 is a partnership ARM and Techstars, an American seed accelerator focused on providing funding and support to fintech startups geared with the sole goal of providing solutions to raging issues across Africa.

The Chief Executive Officer of ARM, Jumoke Ogundare, stated at the just concluded fireside chat themed, “Building the next set of African Unicorns”, that the future of financial services lies within the fintech seeing as technology continues to transform fintech and startups are growing to be more efficient.

Jumoke laid emphasis on the fact that ARM wanted to be at the forefront and champion the growth of startups and help them bloom and flourish. She also said that they were out to also create a platform that allows for women to thrive.

She encouraged women everywhere to build confidence and dexterity while having successful female mentors around them to draw from.

Techstars are said to have established their presence in over 35 cities across about 14 countries. Seeing the increasing number of African applications to their program, the rising tech house deemed it fit to establish their presence in this continent, hence their partnership with the ARM.
