Axia Africa Achieves Global Accreditation from ACTD

Axia Africa, a leading EdTech platform with a vision of equipping millions of Africans with future-ready skills, has been awarded full accreditation by the American Council for Training and Development (ACTD). This recognition marks a significant milestone for the organization, affirming its commitment to delivering globally competitive education that bridges Africa’s skills gap and prepares students for success in an evolving digital economy.

Speaking on the achievement, Olawale Samuel, CEO of Axia Africa, highlighted the importance of the accreditation.

“From the onset, our mission has been clear: to bridge the skills gap in Africa and empower our students to seize opportunities in the global tech ecosystem. This accreditation from ACTD is a recognition and validation of our hard work, innovation, and commitment to excellence,” Samuel stated.

Axia Africa’s curriculum, system of governance, and operational practices are aligned to the well-known global standards of the ACTD. With this upgrade, Axia Africa is now recognised in over 27 countries, including the United States, opening pathways for students to access global career and educational opportunities.

A Game-Changer for African Students

For students, this accreditation is transformative. With the ACTD-certified programs, graduates gain credentials that are internationally recognised, giving them a competitive edge in the global job market. Co-founder Okedeji Tofunmi emphasised the impact on learners, saying

“The ACTD accreditation elevates our standing as an institution and opens doors for our students. At Axia Africa, we are opening pathways to limitless opportunities.”

This milestone aligns with Axia Africa’s broader vision to train over 4 million Africans by 2030 through initiatives like the Tech for Africa Bootcamp, which has already transformed thousands of lives.

With a focus on innovation, quality, and accessibility, Axia Africa is helping reshape Africa’s educational landscape, proving that local talent can compete globally. As Samuel concluded:

“To our students, your hard work and dedication will pay off—keep pushing forward, and the world will recognize your efforts.
