Popat’s career is highlighted by significant roles at Citi, where he served as CFO for both the Middle East and Africa and for Global Equities Sales and Trading for over 18 years. In these positions, he managed finance operations across 29 countries and provided financial oversight for a $5 billion revenue business. This background equips him with a comprehensive understanding of complex financial environments and emerging markets, which will be invaluable for Flutterwave as it navigates its growth trajectory.
