TD Africa, one of Sub-Saharan Africa’s leading technology distributors, has renewed its long-standing partnership with global technology leader Dell Technologies, reinforcing their shared mission to drive digital transformation across the continent. This renewed commitment was formalized during a high-level executive visit to Dell’s regional office on June 3, 2025. The TD Africa delegation, led by CEO Chioma Ekeh and accompanied by senior executives, including Zinox Group Chairman Leo Stan Ekeh, engaged with Dell leaders in a strategic dialogue focused on the future of technology distribution and impact in Africa. The meeting highlighted a shared vision for accelerating Africa’s digital development at a time when demand for digital tools, infrastructure, and capacity building continues to rise, particularly in underserved regions.
Dr. Leo Stan Ekeh urged both organizations to embrace action-oriented strategies in today’s fast-evolving tech landscape. “Strategy alone is not a solution in the 21st century. Take action. The result will tell the story,” he said, challenging both sides to focus on measurable outcomes, innovation, and operational excellence.
This collaboration arrives at a pivotal moment, with Africa’s tech ecosystem poised for rapid growth. TD Africa and Dell Technologies aim to democratize access to transformative technologies that will power the future of work, bridge the digital divide, and foster sustainable growth across the continent.
Building a Digital Future Through Partnership and Innovation
TD Africa CEO Chioma Ekeh reflected on the depth and purpose of the partnership, describing it as a relationship built on trust and shared values. “Our journey with Dell Technologies is more than just business. It’s a story of trust, growth, and shared purpose,” she said. Ekeh emphasized that the collaboration is about much more than distributing hardware—it is about enabling transparency, empowering institutions, and supporting Africa’s digital transformation. “As we look ahead, we remain steadfast in our commitment to expanding access, accelerating innovation, and amplifying impact across the continent,” she added.
Dell Technologies also expressed its strong appreciation for TD Africa’s role in the region. Abimbola Owoeye, Dell’s Country Lead for Nigeria, described TD Africa as one of Dell’s most trusted and influential distribution partners. He highlighted the importance of integrity and innovation in today’s technology ecosystem, stating, “I firmly believe that the cure to corruption is technology, and TD Africa sits at the helm of distributing technologies that challenge inefficiency and promote accountability across Africa.”
The strategic meeting concluded with both organizations aligning on key priorities for the rest of 2025. These include expanding reach into emerging markets, launching joint capacity-building programs, and targeting critical sectors such as education, public service, and enterprise with Dell’s advanced solutions.
